Egg
At the beginning of Egg he was responsible for managing and developing the training design and delivery to one of the major business areas. He was able to mould a diverse number of training consultants into a coherent team that produced outstanding results in a very dynamic and high pressure environment. His services have been in demand ever since on a variety of training projects.
Britannia Building Society
At Britannia he was a major part of the project team which provided the training to integrate the 600 Bristol and West Building Society branch staff into the company. The team was nominated for team of the year at Britannia in 2007 and won the prestigious E-learning Age Team of the Year 2007 award. Richard continues to work with Britannia on a regular basis.

Richard Frape has over 25 years in learning and development in both the private and public sector.
His first training experience was in a tough inner city college of further education... a humbling experience, which shaped much of his thinking about learning and development ever since. During this period he discovered two very important things, firstly he enjoyed the whole training process and secondly he was good at it.
Never one to rest on his laurels, wanting to stretch himself further and use his experience in Life and Pension sales, he joined the French company GAN Life and Pensions. Rising through the training ranks to the position of National Recruitment Manger Direct Sales, before GAN closed its UK business.
At this time he was able to take stock of his career and made the decision to become a freelance training consultant and has never looked back.
It's scary to think I have been in training for 25 years! Yet I am still just as excited by the training process as ever I was...the only thing that's changed is I just got better at it!
